Welcome to La Cucina di Manuela
Manuela was born in Milan, Italy where she owned a boutique before moving to New York to pursue a career in fashion. There she met her Australian husband and following a short stint in London, moved to Sydney. After becoming a Mum of two she resolved to give up her long office hours to concentrate on her other great passion, food.
She co-founded a boutique catering company and taught Italian cooking with her partner at Salt Meats & Cheese in Alexandria. Their 'pasta e ravioli' class was extremely successful and featured in the May 24 2015 Alexandria episode Sydney Weekender with Mike Whitney. The class was also nominated one of the five best cooking classes in Sydney according to Time Out magazine 2015.
Today, Emanuela teaches Italian cooking and caters beautiful Italian-based events for private and corporate clients.
